Santa Barbara Courthouse Elopement, 2021
Leah and Greg met in grad school at UCSB in Santa Barbara, CA. While in school, they not only found each other, but they also made 3 life long friends. Originally they had planned for a big wedding bash but with COVID Leah and Greg soon realized that if they wanted to marry, they needed to dream a little differently. When the Santa Barbara Courthouse reopened for outdoor elopements, the friends came together to make it happen. On a beautiful Santa Barbara spring day, Leah and Greg were married. One friend officiated and two others were witnesses. And it was perfect! While the wedding was less grand than Leah’s original dream, the photos will forever remind them that, even though sometimes life doesn't work out as planned, it can be just as sweet!!
